Potpourri
Marg-e-America Sey Marg-e-Khamenei Ka Safar: Case of Iran’s Mahsa Amini
The point of humans is a free will, humans are not robots, so if no matter how much suppress or condition people to live according to you, they might for a while and it might look successful too, but it will not last, until and unless those restrictions are what people want. Iran is an interesting case when it comes to this, so is China, but this video is about Iran and its recent protest. This is the eighth episode of our show Potpourri. Potpourri is defined as "a mixture of dried petals and spices placed in a bowl to perfume a room." And we define it as: – a mixture of dry opinions and fact-based analysis, naturally fragrant stories and tales, sensationalized social media issues as sprinkles of oil, and presented by our team to keep the potpourri fresh and alive. In Iran people are living how Ayatollahs want them to live, and people have sacrificed so much by sticking to the system they adopted after the revolutions of 1979, people who were rich are poor now, people are now uncertain about three meals of day, people have lost hope. Imagine you are living in Pakistan, which until a month ago was on the brink of bankruptcy, we in Pakistan can easily afford to travel whole Iran, our middle-income people can travel Iran without hurting their savings, imagine the state of Iran and its economy. Iran is a majorly oil rich country and sheer for resistance for American influence in this region, but has the proven better for the people of Iran, rigidity kills diplomacy, and with rigid diplomacy and poor economy, you are just being arrogant and dumb. Iran has been part of foreign conspiracies too many times in the past, sanctions from America has crippled Iranian economy, and it is fair to assume that American sanctions were enough to make people stick to the system, because they thought USA as a common enemy for people of Iran and Ayatollahs, but this system had a weakness, which was simple, people were hungry, people were fed up, and people were angry. This world’s bitter eye towards Iran was enough for people are friends of Iran to show restrain before taking someone else’s side due to Iran being part of foreign attacks since long, but when you people of Iran on roads, it’s quite a difficult picture to ignore. And finally, theoretically Ayatollah’s don’t really gain power from government, they also gain power from people like us, that’s why the question at the end is necessary, whether people who are of Shia sect, do they really want this reign of Ayatollah to end, because if the state power is gone, maybe the spiritual power will too. Some images are graphic, kids should not watch it, but it's a protests and protests can be violent sometimes.
