Army Chief General Asim Munir emphasized the military's readiness to defend Pakistan, highlighting the sacrifices made for the country’s sovereignty and security. Speaking on the country’s defense capabilities, General Munir expressed confidence in the armed forces’ ability to safeguard Pakistan from any threats.
He also addressed the ongoing efforts by Indian mainstream and social media to distort historical facts. The Army Chief pointed out that no amount of false propaganda could alter the reality of Pakistan’s foundation and the struggles endured for its creation. He underscored the deep-rooted ideological differences between Muslims and Hindus, explaining that the very basis of the Two-Nation Theory was the acknowledgment of Muslims and Hindus as distinct nations with differing customs, traditions, and aspirations.
General Munir further stated that the sacrifices of Pakistan’s ancestors, who fought for the creation of the nation, were unparalleled. He reiterated that the differences between Muslims and Hindus are not just religious, but also cultural and social, marking a clear divide between the two groups in all aspects of life.
