Bajaur’s Salarzai Tribes Unite Against Terrorism, Vow to Defend Homeland

The Laramik people of Salarzai tehsil in Bajaur district have made a firm pledge not to give shelter to terrorists, following a grand jirga attended by a large number of tribal elders and community leaders.

The jirga, held at the residence of Malik Fazal Rabi in the Baru area, was marked by strong commitments to safeguarding peace and stability in the region. Participants unanimously agreed that no individual in Salarzai would be allowed to disturb the peace or engage in terrorism. Anyone found harboring terrorists would face expulsion from the area.

Key tribal figures, including Malik Gul Karim Khan, Malik Fazal Rabi, and Malik Sher Bahadur, addressed the gathering, declaring their unwavering resolve to defend their land and country against all threats. “We will not accept any kind of terrorism on the land of Salarzai,” they affirmed, vowing to resist any attempt to destabilize the region.

The jirga further resolved that if any terrorist attempted to enter the area, a military operation would be launched against them. Participants also took a solemn oath to protect their homeland at all costs.

This firm stance comes amid heightened security measures in Bajaur district, where authorities have vowed to take decisive action against militants linked to Fitna al-Khawarij.
