Israel Ready to Strike Iran Anytime, U.S. Warned in Advance: Reports

Tensions in the Middle East are reaching a critical point as U.S. media reports claim Israel has informed Washington of its readiness to launch a strike on Iran at any moment.

According to unnamed American sources, Israeli officials have assured the United States that all preparations are complete for a possible operation targeting Iranian nuclear infrastructure. The revelation comes amid deepening distrust between Tehran and Washington, and stalling diplomatic efforts to revive the 2015 nuclear deal.

U.S. Evacuations Begin

In response to the escalating threat level, the U.S. Department of Defense has authorized the voluntary departure of military families and non-essential personnel from key locations across the Middle East.

A senior Pentagon official emphasized the importance of safety, stating:

“The protection of our soldiers and their families is our top priority.”

Earlier, the U.S. State Department ordered non-emergency personnel to leave Iraq, anticipating potential Iranian retaliation against American assets in the region should Israel proceed with the operation.

Iran Threatens Retaliation

Iran has issued stark warnings to the United States, vowing to target all U.S. military bases in the region if war is imposed on it.
Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh said:

“We hope the crisis does not reach that point, and positive outcomes emerge from the talks. But if forced into conflict, the enemy’s losses will be far greater than Iran’s.”

Iran has thousands of missiles in its arsenal and maintains strong ties with several armed groups in Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria — all within striking range of U.S. military installations and Israeli territory.

Nuclear Talks at Crossroads

The looming threat of war comes as nuclear talks between the U.S. and Iran are scheduled to resume in Muscat on Sunday, following five rounds of stalled negotiations since April.

The core issue remains Tehran’s refusal to halt uranium enrichment, a condition the U.S. insists upon to renew or modify the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Both sides remain publicly firm, though private back-channel discussions have reportedly continued.

Global Concerns & Diplomatic Warnings

International observers have warned that a full-scale conflict between Israel and Iran could engulf the wider Middle East, with repercussions for global oil markets and regional stability.

Brent crude prices jumped above $69 a barrel earlier this week amid fears of disruption in the Gulf, Gulf of Oman, and Strait of Hormuz, key maritime routes for oil transport.

The UK’s Foreign Office is also monitoring the situation closely and is reviewing its embassy posture in Baghdad and the region.
