The Lahore High Court has officially announced the results of its written examinations for the recruitment of civil judges. Despite over 1,500 candidates vying for the position, only 33 candidates have emerged successful.
The examination results were approved by Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, Justice Miss Alia Neelam, and the Lahore High Court Examination Committee. These written examinations were conducted earlier this year in March, testing the candidates on various legal subjects and their suitability for the role of civil judges.
The low pass rate highlights the highly competitive nature of the examination process, as only a small fraction of those who appeared for the exam were able to meet the rigorous standards set by the Lahore High Court. The successful candidates will now move on to the next stages of recruitment, which include interviews and further assessments.
The selection process for civil judges is a critical step in maintaining the quality of the judicial system, ensuring that only the most qualified individuals are appointed to serve in the courts. The Lahore High Court's examination committee is tasked with conducting thorough assessments to ensure that judges possess the required legal knowledge, skills, and integrity to handle cases effectively.
