Pakistan Navy Ready to Counter Any Indian Naval Misadventure: Spokesperson

The Pakistan Navy has assured the nation and the international community that it is fully prepared to confront any misadventures by India in the region. A spokesperson for the Pakistan Navy confirmed that the Navy has deployed its warships in strategic locations and is monitoring Indian aircraft carriers and warships closely.

The spokesperson made it clear that while the Indian Navy’s deployment of ships in response to recent tensions is understandable, Pakistan is not intimidated. In fact, the spokesperson emphasized that India’s naval capabilities at present would not have a significant impact on Pakistan’s defense, as the assets of the Indian Navy would prove to be an attractive target for Pakistan’s forces.

The statement came in response to claims made by a British newspaper, The Telegraph, which reported that India had sent warships equipped with supersonic cruise missiles towards Pakistan, allegedly with the aim of targeting Karachi Port. The report stated that India had sent aircraft carriers, destroyers, frigates, and anti-submarine ships, equipped with Russian-made Brahmos missiles and positioned about 300 to 400 nautical miles from the Pakistani coast.

The spokesperson dismissed these claims as part of a failed Indian propaganda and strongly rejected the notion that the port of Karachi was ever targeted. Additionally, the spokesperson criticized the misleading claims about the missile range, emphasizing that such reports were inaccurate.

Speaking exclusively to a correspondent, the Pakistan Navy spokesperson declared that Pakistan’s armed forces are more than capable of responding to any Indian naval misadventure. He warned that if the Indian Navy dared to approach Pakistan with hostile intentions, it would face devastating consequences in the Arabian Sea.

Security sources further confirmed that no Indian Navy ship is yet close enough to pose a threat to Pakistan. The spokesperson reassured that all cities and shipping lanes in the country are secure, with no imminent danger.

The spokesperson also compared the current situation to the actions of the Pakistan Air Force, which has already successfully surrounded the enemy, while refraining from revealing the wreckage of downed enemy aircraft to the media. The Navy is equally committed to demonstrating its readiness and capabilities in the face of any potential aggression.
