Following Pakistan’s disappointing performance in the Champions Trophy 2025, major changes are expected in the national cricket team, with senior players, including captain Muhammad Rizwan, likely to be rested.

Shadab Khan Considered for Captaincy

According to sources, team management and selectors have agreed to rest experienced players to inject fresh energy into the squad. In case of Rizwan’s absence, Shadab Khan is being considered as the new captain for the upcoming series.
