Qatari Prime Minister Supports Pakistan’s Efforts to Reduce Tensions with India

Qatari Prime Minister Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim has expressed strong support for Pakistan's efforts to de-escalate tensions with neighboring India. During a meeting with Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the Qatari Prime Minister reiterated Qatar’s commitment to regional peace and emphasized the importance of diplomatic channels to reduce rising tensions.

In the meeting, Prime Minister Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim acknowledged the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, commending his efforts to stabilize Pakistan’s economy and navigate the country through these difficult times.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi apprised the Qatari PM about India’s aggressive steps, particularly the provocations surrounding the Pahalgam incident. Naqvi emphasized that Pakistan’s offer for an impartial investigation into the incident strengthens the country’s principled stance on the issue.

Both leaders highlighted the importance of dialogue and diplomatic efforts to restore peace in the region.
