Doha/Qatar – US President Donald Trump, during a visit to Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, announced that the United States will retain control of Afghanistan’s Bagram Air Base, stating clearly, “We will not give it to anyone.”
“Ending conflicts is my priority, but we will not hesitate to use force to defend our partners,” Trump told US troops stationed at the base.
Qatar Commits to Massive Defense Spending
In a major announcement, Trump revealed that Qatar has signed defense agreements worth $42 billion with the United States, including a plan to invest $10 billion into the expansion and modernization of Al-Udeid Air Base, one of the largest US military facilities in the Middle East.
Fighter Jet Upgrades and Military Pay Raises
President Trump also made headlines by mentioning futuristic military plans:
“The US Air Force will soon have the F-47 aircraft, and we’re also eyeing the F-55, an advanced version of the F-35. The 2026 defense budget will include significant pay raises for our brave service members.”
Though the F-47 and F-55 do not currently exist in official US defense programs, Trump’s remarks may indicate future aircraft projects or placeholder names for classified initiatives.
India-Pakistan: ‘Conflict is Resolved’
In a surprise statement, Trump claimed that the long-standing tensions between India and Pakistan have been resolved:
“In my opinion, the India-Pakistan conflict has been resolved. I told them to trade instead of war, and they are happy about it.”
While no official confirmation has come from New Delhi or Islamabad, Trump's assertion reflects the US administration’s push for de-escalation and regional stability in South Asia.
