Senior diplomat Amina Baloch has been appointed as Pakistan’s new Foreign Secretary. The official notification confirms that Baloch, who currently serves as Ambassador to Belgium and the European Union, will assume her new role on September 11.
She replaces the outgoing Foreign Secretary, Cyrus Sajjad Qazi, who is retiring after completing his tenure.
