Imran Khan Postpones PTI Protest Movement Amid Global Situation, Calls for National Unity

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has announced the postponement of the party’s protest movement for two weeks, citing the current global situation as the primary reason.

The announcement came following a visit by Imran Khan’s sisters, Noreen Niazi and Uzma Khan, who met him in Adiala Jail. Speaking to the media outside the jail, Noreen Niazi shared that Imran Khan remains deeply aware of ongoing international developments and believes Pakistan must stay united at this critical time.

“He has postponed the protest movement due to the global situation,” Noreen Niazi said. “He believes that Pakistan’s focus should be on unity right now.”

Uzma Khan also highlighted that the PTI founder’s stance on Israel is well-known worldwide, signaling the party’s clear position amid rising tensions in the Middle East.

The postponement signals a strategic pause for PTI, as the party recalibrates its political activities in light of global and regional developments, reflecting Imran Khan’s emphasis on national cohesion during challenging times.

Political analysts view this decision as an indication of the growing impact of international affairs on domestic political dynamics in Pakistan.
