Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is set to visit the United States this month to attend a high-level international conference organized under the framework of the United Nations Security Council. Scheduled for June 17 to 19, the conference will focus on the Middle East’s most pressing issue — the Palestinian conflict — and emphasize the implementation of the two-state solution.

Dar’s participation will serve as a strong expression of Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and its consistent advocacy for a just and lasting resolution in accordance with international law and UN resolutions.

In a related diplomatic development, the British High Commissioner called on Deputy PM Ishaq Dar in Islamabad. The two leaders discussed strengthening bilateral relations and explored opportunities for enhanced cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, and education. Regional and global issues of mutual interest were also reviewed during the meeting.

Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to deepening ties with the United Kingdom and emphasized the importance of multilateral cooperation on international challenges, including regional peace and humanitarian issues.
