Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Governor Faisal Kundi confirmed in an exclusive conversation with Aaj News that Pakistan has shot down an Indian plane and arrested a female pilot. Governor Kundi shared that the news regarding this incident will be officially released shortly.
In a significant development, the governor stated that drones targeting Peshawar were also shot down by the Pakistan Army. While no debris has been recovered from the drones, further details are expected to be disclosed soon.

The governor commended the Pakistan Army for neutralizing the drones successfully.
Governor Kundi did not shy away from criticizing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him “the butcher of Gujarat” and asserting that India had initiated the conflict. He firmly stated that Pakistan was prepared to end the conflict and would respond to Indian provocations at all levels.
“We shot down five planes the day before yesterday, one yesterday, and arrested a female pilot,” Kundi said, emphasizing the readiness of Pakistan’s forces to protect the nation’s sovereignty.
He also mentioned that Pakistan had targeted the sites from which Indian planes and missiles originated, ensuring that any aggression was met with a decisive response.
The international community, according to the governor, has taken notice of Pakistan’s defense measures, adding that the ongoing tension will require immediate diplomatic intervention. Governor Kundi’s statement further highlights Pakistan's resolve to stand firm against external aggression while also maintaining a commitment to regional peace.
