Sindh Assembly Condemns Indian Aggression, Supports Armed Forces and Kashmir Resolution

The Sindh Assembly session, chaired by Speaker Owais Qadir Shah, witnessed unanimous support for a resolution condemning Indian aggression, presented by Health Minister Dr. Ezra Pechuho on the Day of Thanksgiving.

Addressing the assembly, Dr. Ezra Pechuho condemned India’s aggressive acts and urged the global community to halt arms sales to India, citing India’s inability to responsibly use such weapons. He referenced France’s international embarrassment linked to arms dealings with India.

Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah echoed strong condemnation of India’s targeting of civilians and holy sites, calling it a violation of international law and human rights. He paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces for their bravery in Operation Banyan Marsus, labeling it a historic response to India’s hostile intentions.

Murad Ali Shah emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to sovereignty, security, and border defense. He also demanded the immediate and complete implementation of the ceasefire by India and called for a resolution of the Kashmir conflict aligned with United Nations resolutions. Highlighting the downing of Indian Rafale jets and drones by Pakistan’s military, he underscored Pakistan’s resilience and preparedness.

Education Minister Sardar Shah highlighted the long history of Hindu-Muslim coexistence and condemned the RSS and BJP’s aggressive policies, clarifying Pakistan’s defensive stance in the conflict.

Other assembly members, including Dr. Sham Sundar and Jamaat-e-Islami’s Muhammad Farooq, condemned Indian attacks on mosques and civilians, praised the Pakistan military’s professionalism, and called for unity across political and religious lines in Pakistan. Muhammad Farooq also stressed the importance of upholding the Indus Waters Treaty and resolving the Kashmir issue.

The session reflected strong provincial solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces and reaffirmed calls for international intervention to bring peace and justice to the region.
