Zardari Visits Gujranwala Cantt, Hails Army’s Operation Haq Success

President Asif Ali Zardari visited Gujranwala Cantonment, where he was warmly welcomed by Army Chief General Asim Munir, according to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During the visit, President Zardari praised the professionalism and courage of the Pakistan Armed Forces for their exemplary performance in Operation Haq, highlighting the unity and solidarity demonstrated by the troops. He paid heartfelt tribute to the soldiers and civilians who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland, describing their sacrifices as a sacred trust and a source of lasting national pride.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi accompanied the President, along with commanders of the Mangla and Gujranwala Corps. The President also congratulated the officers and soldiers on the success of Operation Banyan-ul-Marsoos, commending their high morale and readiness.

Expressing deep appreciation for the armed forces, President Zardari noted that the nation regards its brave soldiers as symbols of honor and dignity. He affirmed that the enemy’s evil intentions were thwarted within a few hours, underscoring the strength and resilience of Pakistan’s military.

The visit underscored the government’s unwavering support for the armed forces and their critical role in safeguarding national security.
