11 Martyred, 56 Injured in Indian Army Shelling on LoC: Azad Kashmir Minister

Maulana Mazhar Saeed, the Information Minister of Azad Kashmir, confirmed in a media briefing that 11 people have been martyred and 56 injured as a result of Indian army shelling along the Line of Control (LoC). Among the martyrs were 3 children and 4 women, highlighting the severity of the attacks on civilian areas.

The minister further stated that the total number of martyrs from the Indian attacks has now reached 28, with the violence continuing to cause devastation along the LoC. He also provided updates on the displacement caused by the shelling, mentioning that 572 people from two villages in Neelum Valley have been shifted to safer areas.

In addition, the shelling has caused significant destruction to homes. According to Saeed, 29 houses have been completely destroyed, while 206 houses have sustained partial damage due to the ongoing conflict.

Despite the devastating impact on the local population, Maulana Mazhar Saeed assured that there is sufficient stock of food and medicines available to provide immediate relief to the victims. Emergency assistance is being delivered to the affected areas to mitigate the impact of the attacks.

The Information Minister also expressed concern over the continuous escalation of violence along the LoC, urging the international community to take notice of the situation. He condemned the Indian aggression and reiterated the resolve of the people of Azad Kashmir to defend their territory against any further attacks.
