He reaffirmed that individuals not adhering to Shariat and the Constitution are not considered true Pakistanis. He emphasized that corruption, regarded as the greatest crime in the eyes of Allah, is being actively tackled by the Pakistan Army as part of its commitment to uphold divine and national principles.
The Army Chief highlighted the role of criminals and smugglers in supporting mafia terrorism and spreading chaos through social media. He firmly stated that any attempt to create unrest in Pakistan would be met with resolute opposition. Reflecting on global conflicts, General Munir pointed to the situations in Iraq, Syria, and Libya to illustrate the significance of a stable state.
Addressing the issue of extremism, General Munir called for moderation and tolerance, urging scholars to foster unity rather than discrimination. He lamented the ongoing atrocities in Palestine and Gaza, drawing a lesson for Pakistan to protect and strengthen itself amidst such global challenges.
The Army Chief also expressed gratitude for the sacrifices made by the Pakhtun community and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the fight against terrorism. He assured that peaceful protests are acceptable, but must be conducted in a manner that upholds national security.
