PCB Grants NOCs to Top Cricketers for Big Bash, County Cricket & More

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to several national cricketers to participate in various domestic and foreign leagues, with a clear focus on balancing international exposure and national duty.

As per the PCB's official announcement, Pakistan's top three players — Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan — have been cleared to play in Australia's Big Bash League (BBL). Their NOCs are valid from December 14 to January 28, giving them the green light to showcase their skills on Australian turf this season.

In addition, a number of other prominent cricketers have also received approvals:

·       Kashif Ali – NOC granted for Kent County Cricket Club

·       Mohammad Amir – Cleared to play for Essex County until July 18

·       Shan Masood – NOC issued for Leicestershire County until September 1

·       Hasan Ali – Allowed to represent Warwickshire County until September 30

·       Mohammad Hassan Khan – Approved for participation in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL)

·       Haris Rauf – Cleared to play in Major League Cricket (MLC) in the United States

The PCB emphasized that all NOCs were granted after careful evaluation of each player's fitness status, availability, and upcoming national commitments. The board reiterated that national interest, workload management, and player well-being remain paramount in all decisions.

This strategic approach by the PCB aims to ensure international exposure for its players while maintaining peak performance for Pakistan’s international fixtures.
