Islamabad — The Supreme Court of Pakistan has slated the hearing on petitions seeking suspension of the sentences handed to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi for June 5, according to the latest cause list.

The case will be heard by a two-member bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif.

The petitions, filed by PTI leaders, requested early scheduling of the hearing, highlighting the urgency of the matter. Last week, the party leadership formally urged the court to expedite proceedings.

This hearing marks a crucial stage in the ongoing legal proceedings involving the former prime minister and his spouse.
