Zhob: 33 Indian-Backed Khawarij Killed in Border Infiltration Attempt

Pakistan's security forces successfully repelled a large-scale infiltration attempt by Indian-backed terrorists attempting to cross into the country from the Afghan border, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The ISPR reported that the infiltration attempt occurred during the night between August 7 and 8, when a group of Khawarij associated with Fitna-ul-Hindustan tried to enter the Sambaza area of Zhob. The vigilant Pakistani forces had already tracked their movement and launched a swift and decisive response.

In the ensuing operation, 33 terrorists were killed. A large cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from their possession.

“This infiltration attempt by Khawarij, backed by Indian intelligence agencies, was effectively foiled by Pakistan’s brave security personnel,” the ISPR statement read.

The military’s media wing reaffirmed its commitment to national defense, emphasizing that security forces remain fully alert and prepared to defend Pakistan’s borders from any threat.

“We are determined to eliminate every trace of Indian-sponsored terrorism and protect the sovereignty of our motherland,” the statement concluded.

This is one of the most significant counter-infiltration successes in recent months, underscoring the growing threat posed by foreign-backed terror elements operating from Afghan soil and the resilience of Pakistan's border security apparatus.
