The court of Judicial Magistrate Sharqi in Karachi has granted permission for the arrest of the accused involved in the Karsaaz accident case, following the emergence of new charges. The decision comes after a medical report revealed the presence of methamphetamine, commonly known as "ice," in the accused's system.
The court's ruling follows a request by the police to arrest and investigate the accused in connection with this new case. Senior Superintendent Women Jail has been directed to comply with the court's orders, and investigating officer Mohammad Shakir has been authorized to interrogate the accused before sunset.
The new case against the accused, who was previously involved in a fatal accident on Karsaz Road where a father and daughter were killed, also includes charges related to drug use. The presence of methamphetamine was confirmed in the accused's urine samples, leading to additional legal ramifications.
The medical report, issued by Dr. Zainab Arshad, played a crucial role in the decision, confirming that the substance found in the accused’s body aligns with the common street name for methamphetamine. This development adds a new layer to the ongoing investigation and legal proceedings.
In addition to the Karsaaz case, a separate charge has been registered at Bahadurabad police station, further complicating the legal situation for the accused. The police report details the inclusion of drug-related provisions in the new case, reflecting the serious nature of the allegations against the individual involved.
As the legal process unfolds, the focus remains on ensuring justice for the victims and addressing the new evidence that has surfaced in this high-profile case.
