Pakistan Condemns India’s Hostile Narrative, Reaffirms Commitment to Peace and Sovereignty

Pakistan on Monday strongly rejected recent provocative statements by the Indian leadership, emphasizing that India’s narrative is rooted in hostility rather than peace.

A spokesperson for Pakistan’s Foreign Office stated that despite India’s attempts to divert attention through hollow narratives, there is clear evidence of Indian support for terrorism inside Pakistan, which cannot be concealed.

The spokesperson underlined Pakistan’s firm stance on peace but stressed the country’s resolve to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity. He added that India’s portrayal of Pakistan as the source of regional instability is disconnected from reality.

Pakistan remains committed to advocating for a just and lasting resolution to the Kashmir dispute, based on relevant United Nations resolutions and international law.

Highlighting recent developments, the Foreign Office spokesperson noted that the use of intimidation and warmongering by India has proven ineffective. India cannot fulfill its objectives through threats or misrepresentations.

For durable peace in South Asia, the spokesperson said, “Seriousness, tolerance, and an honest understanding of the root causes of the conflict are essential.”
