POLITICS & POLICY MAKING

Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gauhar, on Wednesday categorically denied any deal between the party and Imran Khan’s government.
Speaking to media outside the Parliament House, Barrister Gauhar clarified that the Prime Minister had made an offer in the National Assembly, which the party welcomed in principle, saying they would consult Imran Khan and the party before responding.
He emphasized that Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, has never publicly disclosed any internal party matters, and that his children—Qasim and Suleman—are in regular contact with him and aware of the situation. They have also confirmed that no deal has been made.
Barrister Gauhar stated, “There will be no deal in any case. Imran Khan is jailed illegally and unjustly. Political issues should be resolved politically through dialogue.”
He reaffirmed the party’s stance that while no deals exist, constructive political dialogue remains essential for resolving ongoing challenges.
